Domaine DAMPT
Collan

The story of the Dampt brothers is a modern-day epic of encounters, perseverance and conviction. From their modest estate and with their father’s support, Eric and Emmanuel Dampt set out to breathe new life into the Tonnerrois vineyards. From the straw intended for their sheep, a few bales were set aside to mark out the boundaries of their future winery.

Hôtel-Dieu de Tonnerre
Place Marguerite de Bourgogne

The Hôtel-Dieu de Tonnerre is a former hospital founded in 1293 by Marguerite de Bourgogne, Countess of Tonnerre and Queen of Jerusalem. For centuries, this exceptional historic monument has welcomed the sick and needy, who come here to receive free care not only for the body but also for the soul: services are held every day in the chapel at the end of the patients’ ward, so that everyone can attend from their beds.
